为什么正式电邮在SPM中很重要
正式电子邮件是SPM英文导向写作中最常考的题型之一。考官在测试你能否进行专业沟通——这不仅对考试成绩重要，对你未来的职业发展也同样关键。
好消息是：正式电邮有固定的结构。一旦学会格式，你就能把它套用到考试出的任何题目上，无论是写给校长、公司经理还是政府官员。
正确的正式电邮格式
每封SPM正式电邮需要按顺序包含以下元素：
1. 主题行（Subject Line）
保持清晰和具体。主题行让读者在打开邮件之前就知道内容。
正确： “Request for Permission to Organise a Charity Event” 错误： “Hello” 或 “Important Matter”
2. 称呼（Greeting）
始终使用正式称呼：
- 致已知姓名者： “Dear Mr Tan,” 或 “Dear Mrs Lim,”
- 致未知人士： “Dear Sir/Madam,”
- 致特定职位： “Dear Principal,” 或 “Dear Editor,”
正式电邮中绝不使用 “Hi,” “Hello,” 或 “Hey”。
3. 开头段落
立即说明目的，不要浪费文字在寒暄上。
正确： “I am writing to request permission to use the school hall for a charity event on 15 March 2025.” 错误： “How are you? I hope you are doing well. I am a student from your school.”
4. 正文段落
将内容分成清晰的段落，每段涵盖一个要点。利用题目的提示来确定需要涵盖的内容——SPM通常给你3-4个要点来回答。
5. 结尾段落
以礼貌的行动请求或感谢作结。
示例： “I would appreciate it if you could consider my request. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information.”
6. 署名（Sign-Off）
- 致已知姓名者： “Yours sincerely,”
- 致未知人士： “Yours faithfully,”
然后在下方写上全名。
专业语气：如何表达
学生最大的错误是混用随意和正式的语言。以下是保持语气一致的方法：

正文：
- “Furthermore, I would like to suggest…”（此外，我想建议…）
- “In addition to the above, …”（除上述之外…）
- “It has come to my attention that…”（我注意到…）
结尾：
- “I look forward to your favourable reply.”（期待您的正面回复。）
- “I hope my request will be given due consideration.”（希望我的请求得到应有的考虑。）
- “Thank you for taking the time to read this email.”（感谢您抽出时间阅读此邮件。）

题目： 写一封电邮给校长，请求许可举办校园环保回收活动。
Subject: Request for Permission to Organise a School Recycling Campaign
Dear Mr Ahmad,
I am writing to request your permission to organise a recycling campaign in our school during the month of April 2025. As the president of the Environmental Club, I believe this initiative would benefit both the school community and the environment.
The campaign would involve placing recycling bins in every classroom and the canteen area. Students would be encouraged to sort their waste into paper, plastic, and general categories. We plan to partner with a local recycling company who has agreed to collect the recyclable materials fortnightly at no cost to the school.
Additionally, we would like to organise a talk during assembly to educate students on the importance of recycling. We would need access to the school hall and the PA system for this event.
I would be grateful if you could grant us permission to proceed. I am happy to meet with you to discuss the details further at your convenience.

5个丢分的常见错误
错误1：署名用错
用 “Dear Sir/Madam” 开头却用 “Yours sincerely” 结尾（应该用 “Yours faithfully”）。记住：Sincerely 对应知道具体（Specific）姓名。Faithfully 用于不知道（Forget）姓名时。
错误2：语气太随意
像 “I hope you can help me” 这样的短语太随意。升级为 “I trust you will give this matter your kind attention.”
错误3：没有回答所有要点
SPM导向写作题目列出了具体要点。漏掉一个就意味着丢分。写之前，给题目中每个要点编号，写完后逐一核对。
错误4：没有分段
所有内容写成一大段会让邮件难以阅读，也向考官表明你不理解文章组织。每个要点一个段落是原则。
错误5：包含无关信息
如果题目要求你申请举办活动的许可，不要花一段来介绍自己或谈论你的爱好。每个句子都应该服务于电邮的目的。
