为什么句型变化对SPM很重要
对比这两段文字：
全是简单句： “Pollution is bad. It harms the environment. Many rivers are dirty. The government must act.”
混合句型： “Pollution, which has become one of Malaysia’s most pressing issues, is devastating our river ecosystems. Although the government has introduced stricter regulations, many factories continue to discharge waste.”
第二个版本展示了语言掌控力。SPM考官给能自信写出复合句的学生更高的语言分数。
了解四种句型
简单句（Simple Sentence）
“The student studied hard.”
并列句（Compound Sentence）
两个独立分句用并列连词（FANBOYS）连接： “The student studied hard, and she scored well.”
复合句（Complex Sentence）
一个独立分句 + 一个或多个从属分句： “Although the student studied hard, she did not score well.”
并列复合句（Compound-Complex）
至少两个独立分句 + 至少一个从属分句。
SPM作文中的好比例：40%复合句，30%并列句，20%简单句，10%并列复合句。
8种构建复合句的方法
1. 从属连词
| 目的 | 连词 | 例子 |

| 原因 | because, since, as | Because it rained, we stayed indoors. |
| 对比 | although, even though | Although he was tired, he continued. |

2. 定语从句（Who, Which, That, Where）
- “The teacher who taught us English was patient.”
- “The book which I borrowed was fascinating.”
- “The school where I studied is in Petaling Jaya.”
3. 分词短语（-ing / -ed）
- Hoping to score an A, she studied every night.（现在分词）
- Exhausted by the exam, students filed out silently.（过去分词）
4. 同位语
- “SPM English, one of the most important subjects, requires practice.”
5. 条件句

- 普通：Hard work helped me succeed.
- 强调：It was hard work that helped me succeed.
常见错误
连写句（Run-on）
错误： She studied hard she scored well. 正确： She studied hard, and she scored well.
逗号拼接（Comma Splice）
错误： The exam was difficult, she passed anyway. 正确： Although the exam was difficult, she passed.
句子碎片（Fragment）
错误： Although she studied hard.（不完整的想法） 正确： Although she studied hard, she found it challenging.
过度复杂化
不要在一个句子里堆叠多个从属连词。一个就够了。
