什么是限定词
限定词是放在名词前面的词，用来说明名词指的是什么。它们回答”哪一个？""多少？""谁的？“等问题。
例子： “The students completed their three assignments.” （The、their和three都是限定词）
SPM在完形填空和语法部分大量考查限定词。
限定词的类型
一、冠词：A, An, The
“A”和”An”（不定冠词）：
- a 用在辅音音素前：a book, a university（以”yoo”音开头）
- an 用在元音音素前：an apple, an hour（h不发音）
“The”（定冠词）：
- the book on the table（特定的书）
- the sun, the moon（只有一个）
- the first, the best（最高级）
什么时候不用”the”：
- 泛指：Education is important.（不是”The education”）
- 大多数国名前：Malaysia is beautiful.（不是”The Malaysia”）
二、指示词：This, That, These, Those

SPM常见错误：
Thisbooks are heavy. ✗ → These books are heavy. ✓（复数用these）
三、量词
用于可数名词：
| 量词 | 用法 | 例子 |

| many | 大量 | Many students passed. |
| few（否定） | 很少（不好） | Few students came.（令人失望） |
| a few（肯定） | 一些（还好） | A few students won prizes.（至少有人赢了） |
| each | 每一个（个体） | Each student received a certificate. |
| every | 每一个（整体） | Every student must attend. |
用于不可数名词：

| little（否定） | 很少（不好） | Little progress was made. |
| a little（肯定） | 一些（还好） | A little patience goes a long way. |
两者都可用：
- some, any, no, all, enough, a lot of
四、物主词：My, Your, His, Her, Its, Our, Their
SPM常见错误： 混淆”its”和”it’s”
- its = 它的（物主词）：The cat licked its paw.
- it’s = it is（缩写）：It’s raining.

规则一：每个名词只用一个限定词

规则二：Each vs Every
- Each 强调个体：Each student received a different topic.
- Every 强调整体：Every student must wear a uniform.
- Each 后可跟”of”：Each of the students…
- Every 不能：
Every ofthe students… ✗
规则三：Few/Little vs A Few/A Little
- Few/Little = 否定意味（不够）
- A few/A little = 肯定意味（还有一些）
规则四：Some vs Any
- Some — 肯定句和建议：I have some books.
- Any — 疑问句和否定句：Do you have any books?
